0. Executive Summary

This sculpture, or this object, consisting of a brown rope, a mirror, and an orange rope, carries a profound symbolic narrative that captures the essence of human experience and perception. The rope's ability to be woven and tangled mirrors the complexities of existence.
The mirror, in this concept, serves as a representation of reflection and self-awareness. Its role is various: it reflects both the touchable world around us and the untouchable world within us.
The brown rope, tangled and chaotic, mirrors the intricate and often messy nature of life.It embodies the challenges and chaos. The tangled rope's reflection emphasizes the interconnectedness of these life experiences.
On the other side of the mirror, is the orange rope, and it represents an alternative perspective on life – one of harmony and peace. Its arrangement as flat and bent suggests an organization and intentionality.

Case Study. Explored Using Time, Space, Motion Techniques

Design Context

0. Executive Summary

The case study's discoveries about typography's role in graphic design become more than just words on a page, transforming into a captivating visual story. Imagine typography as stars in the night sky, each typeface like a unique constellation, shaping the SPACE of design. Over time, these constellations shift and change, like the Earth's changing landscape, revealing layers of history like TIME's geological layers.
MOTION comes alive through typography, where letters and words move like dancers in a cosmic ballet, guiding our eyes across the design like planets orbiting the sun. Just as a river's flow shapes the land it carves through, typography shapes the way we experience visual information. The interactive infographics become like time machines, letting us journey through different epochs, exploring their essence through SPACE, TIME, and MOTION.
This visual interpretation takes us on a journey through the universe of design, where typography is the language of the stars, the sculptor of history, and the conductor of movement. By using these metaphors, we uncover a deeper understanding of how typography weaves its magic beyond the surface of words, inviting us to explore a world where SPACE, TIME, and MOTION converge to tell a captivating story.

0. Executive Summary

This executive summary outlines a comprehensive social awareness campaign centered around epilepsy. The campaign's main objectives are to increase public understanding of epilepsy, diminish stigma surrounding the condition, and provide valuable support to those living with epilepsy and their families. To achieve these goals, the campaign begins with the creation of a user-friendly mobile application that serves as a central resource hub for epilepsy-related information and assistance.
To ensure the app's effectiveness, extensive generative and preference research data is being collected through surveys, interviews, and focus groups. This data drives the design and development process, resulting in an intuitive, accessible, and engaging app for its users. Additionally, a competitor analysis is conducted to gain insights into existing epilepsy-related apps' strengths, weaknesses, and unique features. This allows the campaign to distinguish itself by delivering a superior user experience.
Understanding the user's journey is crucial, and a customer journey map is being developed to visualize their interactions with the app at various stages. This helps identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, leading to a more satisfying and impactful user experience. Lastly, low-fidelity wireframes are being created for essential app pages, providing a visual foundation for stakeholder feedback and revisions before advancing to high-fidelity design and development.

1. Research

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures resulting from abnormal electrical activity in the brain. It affects people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities worldwide. Seizures can manifest as convulsions, loss of consciousness, or subtle movements, and their frequency and intensity can vary significantly among individuals.
Despite advances in medical knowledge and treatment options, epilepsy remains a complex and stigmatized condition, often leading to misconceptions and discrimination in society.
According to the World Health Organization, approximately 50 million people worldwide live with epilepsy, making it one of the most common neurological disorders globally.
70% of individuals with epilepsy not receiving appropriate care.
These statistics underscore the importance of raising awareness, improving support, and reducing stigma through effective social awareness campaigns.
